Fifty Fishermen kidnapped at Dublar Char Area of the Sundarban Area for Ransom Sea robbers kidnapped fifty fishermen and four Fishing Trawlers from Dublar Char Area of Sundarban adjacent to 1 No Buoy of the Bay of Bengal. At that time, the robbers looted about another forty trawlers and took their belongings that worth taka one crore, says the fishermen and owner of the boat. It is known from the forest department and the fishermen that on last Tuesday morning, when the fishermen were catching fish at Dublar Char of the Sundarban, adjacent to 1 No Buoy of the Bay of Bengal, the sea robbers suddenly ran at them and kidnapped about 50 fishermen. Now the robbers are demanding one lac taka for per fishermen as ransom. Speaking to the DFO of East Sundarban Mihir Kumar Day, he informs that the news that he has got from the fishermen that about 50 fishermen had been kidnapped and four trawlers had been taken away by the robbers .He says that Coast Guard ,Forest Department and other law enforcing agencies are running operation to rescue the kidnapped fishermen. He also says that most of the fishermen and owner of the trawlers are the people of Barguna and Patharghata area.
