"Eidul Azha" one of the biggest religious festivals of the Muslim community celebrated on 7th November 2011 in our village Hugra like elsewhere in the country. Main Eid congregation was held at Hugra UP complex field as Mr. A S M Shahidul Azad being the imam of the prayer and Mr. Akram Hossain- a renowned personality of this locality lead the “munajat” On this occasion, Hazi Abbas Ali Foundation (HAAF) organized different socio cultural activities with befitting manner that includes sports, cultural programs performed by its own members and charity events. All the member of the HAAF flocked in to their home soil from different parts of the country to celebrate festival together. It is to be noted that, each year, almost 200 members of the HAAF, all are close relatives, enjoy their Eid together in this village to create a strong bondage and do charity for the less privileged villagers. The 4 days meet ended on 10th of November 2011.
