The name of our village is Anihola. It is a Union of Ghatail Thana in the District of Tangail. The people of our village lead very simple life. There is no political or any other harassment in our village. People of our village live in peace and happiness. We are proud that we live in such an ideal village. Anihola Union is 25 km north to the Tanngail district head quarter. And 10 (km) south west to Ghatail Thana. Bhuapur Thana head quarter is 8 km North West to the Anihola Union. The well known Jamuna river is 12 km west to the Anihola Union. Anihola situated in the middle of Bhuapur, Ghatail and Kalihali Thana town. The Jinai river which is the branch of Jamuna River goes through this village.

This union was established in 1962. Initially this union consists of 23 villages and still now there are 23 villages. Shahid Md. Salam who is a Son of our village was one of the freedom fighter of our country. Shahid Salam High School at Khayer Para was established by his name. Md. Jaynal Abedin was 2 times Golden medal holder headmaster of Khayer Para Primary School during Pakistan period (1970). Dr. Md. Unis visited Anihola Gramin Bank in 1978. Dr. Selim Al din often came to Gowrangi Gram Theater.
