This union was established in 1962. Initially this union consists of 23 villages and still now there are 23 villages. ShahidMd. Salam who is a Son of our village was one of the freedom fighter of our country. ShahidSalamHigh School at Khayer Para was established by his name. Md. Jaynal Abedin was 2 times Golden medal holder headmaster of KhayerParaPrimary School during Pakistan period (1970). Dr.Md. Unis visited Anihola Grameen Bank in 1978. Dr. Selim Al din often came to Gowrangi Gram Theater.
