eeeThe name of the union is Chirapara Parsaturia. It is situated at Kawkhali at the district of Pirojpur in Barisal. The almighty adorned our union with all beauty. The area of this union is 6.25 square km & the population is 14674 people. A river named "Sondha" following at the side of this union. Many branches of this river are following as net. We live on rice. Most of our people are farmer. We grow many kinds of crops. We have many kinds of fishes in our rivers and ponds. When you will come in our village for visiting, you will see many row of trees, large crop fields and many branches of river as like a nice drawn picture. The thing that will make you overwhelmed is the love of the simple villagers. In this winter foggy morning we will serve you with many kinds of cakes specially with rossgoja-pitha (cakes drenched with date- juice), that will fill your heart with content. If you come in summer season then we will serve you with the water of coconut and betel leaf and we will gossip sitting on the sitle pati. So we request you to visit our village with a line of the poem wriitten by one of the famous poet of Barisal named Jasim Uddin

"Tumi jabe bhai, jabe mor sathe amader choto gaie"

That means will you go to my small village with me?
