 NOWZUWAN-An Organization of Socail Development

 

Youth is capable to present a nice society and beautiful country by removing all the social obstacles. One good example is a group of youth in a village of Dengapara(South Bhurshi Union) of Patiya Upazila under the Chittagong District.  The people of Dengapara village were neglected and deprived of their basic rights such as education, food, cloth, recreation, shelter and medical etc in mid 70’s. In order to gain those rights, the NOWZUWAN Club was established in 1977 by the endeavor of ambitious youths, who has received Government approval from social welfare dept. in 1980 by the initiative of its founder member (Mr. Sirajul Islam Chowdhury) later on he became a member of Parliament .Year of 1982 to 1988 were the transitional period of NOWZUWAN club. In 1988 few young adolescent has restarted and rearrange the club and formed constitution and also gathered in a one umbrella with a unique theme of volunteerism through motivation and dedication in 1992. In 1996 NOWZUWAN Club become NOWZUWAN social development organization and has started grassroots level social activities and spreading its work and successfully implementing work with a large involvement and also created wide area network in Chittagong Divisional region and continuously establishment of justice and opportunities for all for promoting a better society.
