The name of our union is Dantmara. It is  under the Upazila of Fatichhari, Zila Chittagon. Padma and Meghna, two large rivers are flowing by this Union. The river, Meghna divides this Union to East Ekhlaspur and West Ekhlaspur.  East Ekhlaspur is consists of four villages: Ekhlaspur, South Ekhlaspur, Hasimpur and Noya Nagar. West Ekhlaspur also consists of four villages: Char Kasim, Soshtho Khondo, Boro Char and Khuner Char. Total population of the Union is 21,183 (male 11,291 and female 9,892) according to the BBS statistics 2001.
