SocialTech Lab is awarded 2M yen to train PHC healthcare workers by Telecom Advancement Foundation, Japan

SocialTech Lab is awarded 2M yen to train PHC healthcare workers by Telecom Advancement Foundation (TAF), Japan. Mr. Nakayama (the director of TAF) handed over the award to Dr. Ashir Ahmed during the award ceremony held at Imperial Hotel in Tokyo on the 24th of March, 2017.
Three healthcare workers from Bangladesh will visit Japan to receive training in Hiroshima University and Kyushu University in August this year. It is expected that the healthcare workers will be trained to be trainers of hundreds of healthcare workers in Bangladesh and other developing countries.
In the past, PHC healthcare workers provided training more than 50 healthcare workers in Bangladesh, India and Thailand.
